Up late, around 1. We headed down into Evdilos and got some food. I ordered pancakes, as did Andrew. His took around 2 hours to arrive. It was very stressful. He didn’t even finish them. We didn’t leave until around 5.

We got to the beach at 6. It was a nice little cove. Nik and Miles went to explore a cave as Andrew and I swam out into the cove. Later Matt joined. Andrew and I climbed a razor sharp rock and jumped off – twice – so Miles could take a video the second time. We chilled on the beach for a while, chilling and lying on sun-loungers.

Just before the sunset we drove out along country roads past the airport and military base to an old tower. A 10/15 min walk down the cliff brought us first to a tiny church full of old paintings and offerings, then to a small beach. It was almost empty. We went swimming as the sun set and the beach cleared.

We managed a couple of jumps as well. Later Andrew and I drank beers in the sea. Miles joined with a cup of wine and a cigarette. After it got dark Andrew started stargazing as miles tried to start a fire on the beach. He failed. Matt wondered off up the hill to look at the church. Soon we followed. He wasn’t at the church. We continued on up the hill to the car. He wasn’t there either. A moment of panic was followed by me calling him. He’d taken a wrong turning and ended up some way down the road. We picked him up and continued on to Faros for some food.

We wondered for a while, then stopped in a slope-y alleyway and got some grilled meat and chips. Nik panicked when a cat passed him and spilled my Iced tea down the table. Afterwards we got a drink around the corner, then drove back. It was a long way and I was in the middle with Matt to my left. I got claustrophobic and did not enjoy the ride home. Soon we were back, and off to sleep. Andrew and I’s room was V cold. Too cold for Nik, who snuck in later in the night to avoid Matt’s snoring.
