Day 49: Patras, August 19th.

 Up around 13:00 and out around 14:00. Nik and Andrew had already eaten and Miles had been to the shop but me and Matt picked up a couple of spinach pastries on the way to the beach. The “beach” was a bunch of bean bags in a café by the sea atop a concrete walkway. The sea was fairly rough and big waves kept splashing over and wetting Nik and Andrew who were at the front.

We chilled here for hours. I had a couple of iced teas and an ice cream, read my book, chatted and went for a choppy swim with Miles and Andrew. We left around 5:30/6ish, headed to a shop where we picked up snacks for the journey tonight. I bought too many! My weight-loss will not last at this rate. We also explored Jumbo, the toy shop, in search of a beach umbrella. We were unsuccessful.

After dropping snacks back at the house me, Andrew, Nik, and miles went for gyros. We got some at the main square. Miles ordered double and his took ages to arrive.

After that we headed back to the flat. Nik and Andrew left and we chilled. There was a shit film called Jackknife on in the background as we packed etc. I also made a new Insta post.

We waited for 1:30 to arrive.
